Dear Southbridge Rugby Players, Supporters, and Community,

As part of our 150th Jubilee celebrations, I am thrilled to announce the organisation of a proposed tour to Europe and the UK in September 2026, marking 150 years of Southbridge Rugby. This tour will be a fitting way to cap off our Jubilee year, bringing together players, supporters, and the wider Southbridge community to celebrate our incredible history.

Preliminary Details

Although final dates are still to be confirmed, the proposed tour schedule includes the following:

Departure Date: 2nd September 2026 (TBC)

First Game: Saturday, 5th September vs. Amstelveense Rugby Club, Amsterdam, Netherlands

Second Game: Saturday, 12th September vs. USC Terrasson, France (between Bordeaux & Toulouse) as part of their 120th celebrations

Third Game: Saturday, 19th September vs. Siluri Rugby Club, Genoa, Italy

Fourth Game: Wednesday 23^rd September night game vs. Melrose Rugby Club, Scotland, strengthening our ties with this historic club

In addition to the matches, we are working on plans for stops and visits between games, ensuring the tour offers not only rugby but also cultural and social experiences to remember. Jo and I will meet soon to finalize further details, including deposits required to confirm spots.

Return Date: 28^th or 29^th September (TBC)
