We are extremely excited to announce some more exciting news for the club. We are pleased to announce that a Southbridge Senior side will be going on a tour of England, Scotland & Northern Ireland in September 2023.

We will be playing games against Sidcup in England, Belfast Harlequins in Northern Ireland and will finish the tour playing Melrose in the Scottish Borders. All three clubs we will be playing have had players play for the Southbridge Club in recent years which makes it even more meaningful.

This is a wonderful opportunity for our players and management to experience a 25-day Northern Hemisphere tour but also so for those partners of our players that are able to come and supporters. A supporter’s group will be traveling alongside the playing group as well and we have had very strong interest already from around 45 supporters who have registered their interest in coming on the tour.

With the 2023 RWC on in France during this time and in October no doubt we will have a few staying on to support the All Blacks.

Naturally, the tour will be dependent on how the Covid-19 pandemic progresses along with any border restrictions in each nation including New Zealand have with it.
